REQUIRED VACCINATIONS (for boarding):  For your dog's protection,
proof of up-to-date vaccinations are required. Please check with your vet
ahead of time if there's any question of whether or not he/she needs an update
before boarding.

WHAT TO BRING:  We encourage you to bring some type of blanket or
bedding that smells familiar to your dog.  Even though the kennel is heated
and we provide beds, familiar bedding gives a comfort level to your
dog ... lets him know "this is my spot".  We also encourage bringing toys,
bones, etc. that your dog enjoys as long as they are safe for him. We have a
small supply of toys and bones if you'd like to pick out something new for your
dog to enjoy.

To avoid the digestive upset that a sudden switch of food can cause we have
the owners provide their own food.  We advise you to bring more than enough
for your dog's visit as they often eat better than you think they will ... once we
make them feel safe and comfortable.   Also bring any medications and/or
food supplements that need to be provided which will be carefully
administered according to your instructions.

If there are phone numbers where you can be reached during your visit,
please bring them along for our records. If you're a previous customer and
have had updates on vaccinations since your last visit, please bring the
updates with you so we can get our records updated.  We provide food and
water pans and use our own leads while your dog is visiting, but we do insist
that
All dogs must be either on a lead or carried in and out of the
facility
.

HOURS:  Although we're here caring for your dog 14 or more hours a day, 7
days a week, we have specific opening and closing times, which are strictly
enforced.
YOU MUST HAVE AN APPOINTMENT and we ask that you
arrive at the appointed time so we can schedule our many other chores and
be prepared for your arrival.  If you arrive unexpected, you may have to wait
until we are able to adjust our schedule and greet you.  Please leave your dog
in your car and wait in the kennel office; do not enter the kennel area without
our consent and please do not come to the house ... that is my home.

VETERINARY CARE:  Your dog's health will be closely monitored while he
visits. Any medications you bring will be administered on a timely basis and
documented. If, in our opinion, it appears your dog is in need of veterinary
examination or services, such services will be provided by your veterinarian if
possible, or by another local veterinarian. Owner agrees to be financially
responsible for any necessary veterinary care and/or medications.
